Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

MandeepEducates is run by Mandeep Singh, who is the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us about privacy at any time at contact@mandeepeducates.com.

2. What we collect

• Information you give us: your email address and, if you choose to provide them, your first name, your role (for example parent, student, teacher, school leader or tutor), your areas of interest, the education stage you are interested in, and anything you tell us about your challenges.
• Instagram interactions: if you comment on a post or message @mandeepeducates, we receive your Instagram username, your messages and any answers you give, such as your role and email address.
• How you found us: the website or campaign link you arrived from (for example Instagram or LinkedIn).
• Email engagement: whether you open our emails and which links you click.
• Enquiries: anything you send us when you get in touch about coaching, training or speaking.

3. How we use it

• To send you the guide or resource you asked for.
• To send you occasional emails about education, oracy and our work, if you have agreed to this.
• To understand who our resources help (for example the mix of parents, students and educators) so we can create more useful content.
• To reply to your messages and enquiries.

4. Our lawful basis

• Consent: for sending you guides and marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legitimate interests: for replying to enquiries and understanding, in aggregate, how our content is used.

5. Young people

Our guides and emails are intended for adults and for students aged 16 and over. If you are under 16, please ask a parent or carer to request a guide for you. If we learn that we hold marketing data about someone under 16 without a parent's involvement, we will delete it.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We use trusted service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract:

• MailerLite: email delivery and subscriber management.
• Inrō: Instagram message automation.
• Meta (Instagram): where you interact with us on Instagram, Meta's own privacy policy also applies.
• Lovable: website hosting.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your details while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep only what we need to make sure we do not email you again. We periodically remove subscribers who have not opened an email for 24 months. Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to two years.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for a copy to transfer elsewhere, and withdraw consent at any time. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any Instagram message to stop automated messages. To exercise any right, email contact@mandeepeducates.com. We will respond within one month.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
